We were able to see Gord and Natasha. Natasha is a excommunicated member and her husband Gord has been interested in the Church since he met. We have been teaching him for a while and He and his whole family including Natasha came to church yesterday. They are going to have us over for dinner this week. They are doing really well and they are really progressing. We also are teaching this guy named Joel who really wants to change his life around and we have been reading the Book of Mormon with him and he has been really liking it. He has told us how it has really been helping him and he has seen it change him.
We also have been teaching Luyi who is the home stay student and he has really been thinking about baptism and how important it is to have authority when being baptized. He is from Japan and so there is kind of a language barrier so we have really been using the family that he is staying with because the mom is from Japan and the dad served his mission in Japan so we have had some really good lessons with him and the spirit has been really strong so we are really hoping that he talks with his mom to see if he can get baptized!
We found this family this week, the Hilts family, We had a really Awesome lesson with them and they loved it. We taught the restoration to them and they loved it! We invited them to read the Book of Mormon and they wanted us to come back so we will be seeing them this week! Oh and then we had a crazy miracle on Saturday! This guy named Steve walked up to us on the street and told us how he met missionaries the other day and he wanted to come to church so we went and taught him and got him a ride to church and he came!! We are also going to see him this today and he is so cool! He really wants to make a change in his life and he used to live with members and knew that coming to our church could help him make that change that he wants to.
So we have seen so many miracles this week and have gotten to teach a lot of people. Our area is really doing well and is on fire!
Love Elder Slack
